Defense contractors have about 75 days to make their bids on a $35 billion dollar contract for Air Force refueling tankers. The Pentagon's solicitation on Wednesday calls for 179 planes, with the option for more. It's the third salvo in the Defense Department's seven-year effort to replace its Eisenhower-era fleet.
